Support Engineers within the Developer Engagement team are on a mission to make developers at Apple as effective and efficient as possible and help them deliver groundbreaking software year-over-year. This involves helping developers identify and apply the tools that best meet their particular needs, and providing real world feedback to the teams developing those tools, so they can prioritize features that meet the needs of developers.

Description
In this role you will: – Respond to support requests from users of Xcode Cloud, allowing you to: – Connect with development teams across Apple to understand their use (or lack of use) of Xcode Cloud, and surface both struggles and opportunities to better meet their needs. – Support efforts to migrate teams towards preferred tools through hands on support, training, and guidance in order to improve our investments in those tools. – Quantify the use of Xcode Cloud with data to provide insights into which teams within Apple are using Xcode Cloud, the performance of Xcode Cloud, and usage trends over time. – Embed and build relationships with the Xcode Cloud Development Team, allowing you to: – Understand their roadmap and serve as a conduit to the teams using their Xcode Cloud reporting back their feedback. – Filter and route bugs, questions, and feedback to the right members of the Xcode Cloud Team as needed. – Work with them to produce documentation to make Xcode Cloud usage “self-serve” and ease future support volume. – Develop automation/tooling to help ease support volume and streamline processes. – Monitor communication channels related to Xcode Cloud, such as help Slack channels, and provide answers and guidance as needed.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field / equivalent experience
