About us
As Applewood Performance Center grows, we are looking to hire a full-time shop assistant to help us with the day to day errands and activities.
Job Description
Previous lot and shop experience is an asset. Love for cars, Customer service and ability to follow instructions is a must.
Professional and Punctual
- Presentable work attire and correct safety gear at all times
- Work while on shift
Attention to detail and shop cleanliness
- Keep the shop clean at all times
- Put tools back where they belong
- Clean debris from the floor and work benches
- Maintain clean operating conditions off all equipment including hoists, jacks, stands, parts washers, welders, presses, fab equipment etc
- Keep all doors, jambs, doorknobs, and walls clear of grease, oil and stains
- Empty all garbage cans, move all cardboard to recycling and containers to recycling bins
Shop errands
- Pick up and drop off parts at local venders
- Run required errands for management and techs
- Shuttle vehicles for sublated services
- Assist in moving cars in and out of the bays
- Wash and vacuum customer vehicles
- Take pictures of cool cars, Cool build, and daily activities
Be a team player
- Able and willing to help all shop staff and management
Follow department processes
- Must be able to follow all departments written processes
