The Opportunity:
ApplyBoard is seeking a Finance & Treasury Analyst to partner closely with the business on financial planning and analysis, as well as help manage treasury operations. At ApplyBoard, Finance is all about business partnership in enabling business leaders meet their goals and drive results for the company. We do this by leveraging data and insights to identify trends, connect the dots and participate in day to day decision making at the company. You’ll get substantial leadership exposure, focus on the highest-priority business issues and gain understanding of a high growth technology business. Additionally, you will be a key operational player in our treasury and cash management operations to support our emerging treasury function.
What you’ll be doing every day:
- Business line profit and loss analysis
- Collaborate with department leaders on cost expenditure and budget performance
- Analyze and forecast cash flows, along with FX and other related analysis.
- Support the annual operating planning cycle and forecast annual expenditures
- Initiate and lead cross-functional discussions to identify and resolve cash-related issues
- Help drive treasury related projects – consolidations in banking, improve internal banking services, cost improvement and efficiency opportunities, to drive technology improvements banking practices
- Contribute in developing the annual cash flow forecast and monthly cash variance reviews
- Support and assist in the preparation of the Quarterly Board of Director written reports
- Help actively manage the Company’s investment portfolio and explore future investment options
- Support with Treasury compliance and risk management
- Assist in managing day-to-day banking operations and processing payments
- Collaborate with the accounting team in the month-end and quarter-end close process, including monthly financial reviews
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting – MBA or CFA preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or finance (experience in corporate treasury or FP&A is preferred)
- Experience and proficiency with: Netsuite, Planful, MS Office Applications (Excel & Powerpoint) and Google Suite a plus.
