We are looking for a limited-time assignment (9-12 mos.) for a Corporate Controller to join our team.

Mission
The Corporate Controller will be charged with the day-to-day accounting and financial operations and financial statement close process, external audit preparation and income tax information support. This will be a hands-on role, with accountability for monitoring, assessing, analyzing and improving all accounting, management and financial reporting activities, systems and processes for the business as a whole and specifically the details of the Nu Flow Technologies business.

Essential Job Functions

• Corporate Responsibilities
• GAAP accounting for manufacturing and sales subsidiaries
• Cash forecasting
• Operations support and summary reporting assistance for all operating divisions, including Canadian manufacturing
• Supervisory responsibility for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting
• Ownership of the month-end close process including adjusting entries and account reconciliations;
• Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly reporting for the Nu Flow businesses, understanding variances and movements in balances.
• Manage and provide guidance on cost accounting matters;
• Work closely with plant controllers to review standard costs and monitor other operating expenses to ensure they are reasonable and accurate;
• Approve journal entries and account reconciliations;
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and champion change;
• Act as a central point of contact for Nu Flow finance matters;
• Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Required Skills

• Professional accounting designation (CPA preferred);
• 5+ years progressive experience, ideally gained through a combination of public accounting and 3+ years post-audit experience;
• Experience with global entities, including foreign currency transactions, multi-company consolidations and inter-company reconciliations;
• Experience with manufacturing, standard cost, and inventory;
• Advanced skills in NetSuite and Excel;
