We are a specialty service, truck carrier based out of Delta, B.C. who provides general cargo, refrigerated and bulk commodity transportation throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and Washington State. We also provide an increasing selection of Warehouse and Distribution services in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
We are a busy and growing company and provide excellent service to all our customers, and our team makes this happen! From Truck Drivers to Accounts Receivable, and Warehousing, our dynamic and supportive team carries out Aquatrans’ success.
Nature of Position: Full-time, 5 days per week.
Wage: Commensurate with experience
What You’ll Do
The full-time position will be based out of our Coal Harbour Warehouse and may be scheduled to work at our Omega Dock (Port Hardy) and Englewood (Port McNeill) Warehouse as business needs require.
You will work in coordination with the Aquatrans Warehouse team and assist in the daily duties of the Warehouses. Safely load and unload shipments with a forklift and have the capability of some heavy lifting.
This worker must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations. Inventory management, order picking, and relations with warehouse staff and customers are essential functions for this position.
You will:
· Work safely and efficiently every day, by maintaining a safe and tidy workplace
· Follow company procedures to execute daily tasks
· Physically load and offload land freight and marine freight, ensuring accuracy of all deliveries.
· Consolidate materials for shipment and pack appropriately for destination
· Ensure all incoming freight for warehousing is tagged and inventoried
· Operate a forklift safely
· Ensure shipments contain proper documentation
· Perform other duties as required

· Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
· Experience working in a warehouse environment, shipping and receiving.
· Experience loading and unloading enclosed trailers, flat decks, and containers.
· Physically fit and safely perform some heavy lifting up to 50lbs, able to stand for extended periods of time, indoor and outdoor
· Able to work outside regular warehouse hours if required
· Forklift certification and demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely
· Valid and clean BC driver’s license, with ability to travel to Omega Dock and Englewood Warehouse.
· Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate considered an asset
· Propane dispensing certificate considered an asset
· Crane operation certificate considered an asset
· High School diploma
