Job Responsibilities
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
- Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
- Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets

We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join the team at the Maritime Forestry Complex! As a Food Service Worker on our team of other service stars, you?ll take on the important task of assisting with food preparation, maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and the environments we work in. The best part? It?s just the starting point of your career, so launch your future with us!
The starting wage for this position is $14.75 per hour!
Job Responsibilities
- Prep, cook and serve made to order items on the grill
- Assure quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers
- Regularly clean and sanitize workstation and surrounding areas
- Regularly record food, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher temperatures
- Label products in accordance with FIFO
- Stock fridges, freezers, and shelves
- Light cash handling duties, including processing customer transactions and balancing cash float
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1+ year’s food service experience considered an asset
- Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset
- Must be able to work efficiently, supervised and unsupervised
- Ability to bend, turn, stand, reach high/low, lift and carry up to 30 lbs. for up to 8 hours per shift
- Long periods of standing may be required
