As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of all talent. This strategic position plays a critical role in delivering an excellent candidate experience. The successful candidate is an ambassador for the company and through their passion and creativity, can develop strategies that attract and drive top talent to Archmill’s team. The incumbent will have the opportunity to participate in projects within the HR team. When it comes to Archmill House there is no middle ground, it time to go ALL IN!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: *

• Responsible for all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process; including qualifying, pre-screening, and conducting behavioral-based interviews with potential candidates
• Plan and execute strategic sourcing plans for open roles and funnel requisitions through the use of internal and external marketing opportunities
• Prepare job postings, interview guides, offer letters, and documents required for onboarding new employees, including new hire orientation
• Act as a trusted consultant to hiring managers; partnering to determine staffing requirements and supporting conversations relating to hiring decisions
• Increase awareness of the organization as an employer of choice through various branding initiatives and effective communication of our employer value proposition
• Identify new recruitment and branding opportunities and make recommendations to enhance recruitment best practices and continually improve our onboarding strategy
• Ensure hiring practices are followed consistently and fairly
• Participate in the maintenance and preparation of weekly recruitment reports and provide data-driven updates to hire managers and HR team
• Maintain accurate candidate and job tracking within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) BambooHR
• Complete additional projects within the HR department and other duties as assigned

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum 3-5 years of recruiting experience
• Demonstrated experience in a high-volume recruitment environment including hiring for office and production roles
• Strong sourcing expertise with the ability to attract and engage both active and passive talent by using digital sourcing channels and marketing the Archmill House employer brand
• Proficient with technology including MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Effective stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to coach and influence
• Excellent verbal communication and professional writing skills
• CHRP designation is an asset

EDUCATION:

• A post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or Business
