We seeking a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor for a large company in the Brampton area. This is a permanent fulltime opportunity with a lot of growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 15-20 direct reports
• Liaise with other Managers, Production Technicians as well as other personnel
• Supervise Production Staff – performance reviews – disciplinary action – day to day issues
• Manage Quality for batch consistency and quality levels of completed product
• Production Scheduling and Expediting
• Manage expenses controls in line with AOP targets
• Identify & participate in productivity improvements
• Material handling experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of the H&S Legislation – ensure safe operation of all duties
• Proficient computer skills, MS Office and SAP
• Strong interpersonal, time managements, decision making and communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business procedures
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred
• Flexible to work on a 3-shift rotation
