Located in Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario (“the AGO”) is one of the largest art museums in North America, with a collection of close to 100,000 works. Through the collection as well as collaborations with leading museums around the world, the AGO presents wide-ranging exhibitions and programs to approximately 1 million visitors annually.
We are currently seeking a Regular Full-Time, Electrician to join our Plant Operations team. Under the direction of the Director, Plant & Building Infrastructure, the incumbent will design, install, repair, and maintain the gallery’s electrical/electronic systems and related equipment. Participates in the day-to-day safe and efficient hands-on installation, maintenance, service, and repair of all systems as well as all other plant/building related equipment and operations to maintain stable environmental conditions throughout the Gallery for the preservation and safe storage of the collection and equipment at peak operating performance.
