Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:
Commercial management & Project Controls techniques, methodologies, procedures, and tools utilized to meet project objectives
Monitoring, analyzing & controlling projects by integrating project finance, design management, change management, risk management, contracts management and other project management aspects
Multidisciplinary budgeting and controls
Cost, fee and cash flow management of projects
Establish WBS and manage schedule using Primavera 6
Resource planning & management
Earned Value Management application on projects for performance measurement & forecasting.
Change & Claims management
Contracts Management
Multi scenario analysis and reporting using Power BI dash boards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration (Finance/Accounting), Business Economics, Biasness Commerce, or Project Management required
Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher
Sound analytical approach
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Professional demeanor
Good communication skills essential for team-based working
Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
Able to work independently or as part of a large team
Interest in cost and schedule analysis
Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
Preferred
Working Knowledge of MS Project/ Primavera 6
Working knowledge of Power BI
Advance working knowledge of MS Excel (use of macros preferable)
Basic knowledge of Business Finance
Evidence of past internship or extracurricular activity in the field
Proven ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
History of technical presentations and technical writing
Evidence of personal investment in academic or extracurricular field
