About the opportunity:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you create demand for Ascensia’s products to achieve the annual sales commitments while providing excellent customer service within the assigned territory. Under the supervision and coaching of a regional sales manager, you will be responsible for outbound telephone calls detailing Ascensia’s diabetes care products primarily to pharmacy customers. Your key contact points include Pharmacy Owners, Pharmacists, and Technicians at chains and independent accounts.
Location: This position is a remote opportunity based in the Ontario, Canada region.
What you will be doing:
Deliver key selling messages of all Ascensia’s products to pharmacy customers, via outbound telephone calls, email, web, or other virtual platforms to meet and/or exceed sales goals
Manage assigned territory to ensure approach reach and frequency (maintains 10-15 customer calls per day)
Build relationships with key contacts and follows principles of sales excellence, demonstrating high-quality and professional interactions to promote the benefits of Ascensia’s products
Recognizes and efficiently acts on business opportunities for Ascensia’s products and services implementing national marketing trade or banner specific programs to support customer/business needs and territory sales and objectives
Prepares and updates territory business plan as needed (plan of action for key customers, optimal call coverage, budget allocation etc.,) and ensures proper analysis of territory KPI’s while effectively using dashboards to analyze and track progress
Works collaboratively with team members and management to execute business plans and is an active participant within their regional and national sales teams, sharing knowledge and trends
Captures key information discussed during calls and keeps contact list up-to-date and enters all relevant call details into CRM in real time
Helps with vacant territory coverage as needed
Completes all mandatory corporate training and adheres to all policies, procedures and code of conduct
Occasional travel if needed
What you need for success:
University Degree (Science or Business preferred)
Previous 1-3 years Inside Sales Representative, HealthCare, Pharmacy or Diabetes experience is highly preferred
Previous virtual interactions with Pharmacists or other Healthcare Professionals are preferred
Bilingual is both English and French is highly preferred
