Responsibilities:
Sample Coordination with Customer Development Team
Creating Purchase Orders for Departmental Maintenance
Tender International orders to Freight Forwarder and coordinate Required Documentation
Maintenance of the shipping schedule
E2Open Schedule
Bakery Schedule
Managing the weekly Logistics KPI report
Managing weekly CHEP reporting.
Reviewing freight and pallet invoices for accuracy and sign off
Maintenance of OS&D information
Maintenance and follow up to all assessorial charges
Coordinating the international shipment of raw materials and R&D products.
Maintaining broker data requirements for food shipping from, and being received by, the bakery
Ensuring shipping documentation meets Customs, USMCA, FDA, and International requirements, including tariff classifications
Maintaining office supplies (BOLs, seals, temperature loggers, etc.)
Managing the bakery pallet program:
Determining weekly pallet requirements
Generation of purchase orders for pallets
Validation of pallet billing
Generation of weekly pallet report to reconcile rental costs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other PC programs required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Transportation / Customer service role required
Post-secondary diploma preferred
Canadian Customs Certification (CCS) preferred
Canadian International Freight Forwarding Association (CIFFA) certification preferred
High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task whilst maintaining a productive, organized work environment
Attention to detail an absolute must
