Aston Carter Looking for Bilingual Wealth Operations Officer (Big 5 Bank) at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

• Please note – this role starts off in office 5 days a week. After training is completed, you will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule. *
• Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:*
• Responsible for carrying out I.E. requests in a prompt and efficient manner while ensuring that banks policies and industry regulations are adhered to;
• Authorize withdrawals of cash and/or securities from client accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Approve the transfer of money and securities between accounts and process transactions where applicable
• Communicate with sales and branch employees to provide information, identify problems and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Review and approve estate documentation, and approve foreign exchange conversions
• Perform all accounting duties for branches within the country.
• Other Ad-Hoc tasks as assigned.
• Must Have Experience/Skills:
• 1) Must be fully bilingual in English and French (both written and verbal) 2) Must have experience with one of the following, ideally both: a) Back office operations within Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Capital Markets
• Must understand terminology such as stocks, equities, bonds, registered/non-registered funds, debits and credits
