Aston Carter Looking for Learning Experience Designer at Toronto, ON Full Time

Our client, one of the big 5 banks in Canada, is looking to hire a Learning Experience Designer to support their head office located in the downtown Toronto area on a hybrid basis.

Typical Day in the Role includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Responsible for developing the overall framework and design of digital learning experiences and evaluating program effectiveness. This role ensures experiences are designed to set and established learning objectives that effectively engage learners and facilitate learning retention.
• Develops or advises on the overall framework, design, strategy of courses, ensuring alignment with learning needs and service level agreements; collaborates with Business HR to establish objectives and goals of learning programs
• Supports the development of wireframes, scripts or storyboards for digital assets, including video, e-learning, articles, job aids, etc.
• Collaborates with the Learning Delivery team to execute courses, and maintains existing learning programs, ensuring up-to-date learning materials, training clarity etc.
• Tracks and reports on training activities to ensure program effectiveness; gathers and analyzes data to identify opportunities to improve/enhance learning experiences
• Conducts quality assurance assessments on courses and provides trends and insights to Manager, Experience Designer.

Must-Have Requirements/Skills:

3+ years’ experience designing for the following types of learning experiences:

• eLearning
• Learning videos/ animations
• Learning aids/ job- aids
• Learning Web Pages/ Communities
• Learning Experience Platforms
• Content Curation from multiple external libraries

Nice To-Have Requirements/Skills (Not Mandatory, But a Bonus):

Bilingual in Spanish OR

Experience using:

• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• HTML/ CSS
• Articulate 360 Rise
• Articulate 360 Storyline
• Camtasia
• Vyond/ Rapid Animation tools
