Accountabilities:
Design, develop, and maintain processes and reports to support efficient financial planning for all Retail businesses and seamless functioning of the Enterprise Planning Tool
Support development of business cases and analysis to drive effective business decisions by gathering insights at pace and developing financial models
Coordinate processes and inputs between divisions and key stakeholders for both 3-Year Financial Plans and Periodic Budgets
Develop and provide insights based on the latest trends in the Retail industry and by comprehensively analyzing various financial and business metrics
Host periodic reporting review meetings with both Retail Finance leadership team, as well as the larger Retail finance team for coordination of annual STIP review and exception process
Key advocate of budgeting and forecasting technology (Hyperion-based ePB), including building and executing the roadmap within Hyperion, and integration of Hyperion into existing tools and processes to drive efficiencies
Maintenance of Store Budget processes and templates, and evolution of forecasting tools and processes
Preparation of materials for Period Review Deck
Train and develop staff, including overseeing performance evaluation and career development
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Job Qualifications:
University degree in Business or a related field along with a relevant designation (CPA, CFA, MBA etc.)
Minimum 5-8 years in related Finance roles
Strong business acumen along with a solid technical understanding of financial systems & process with willingness to drive continuous improvement
Excellent technical skills, specifically with MS Office applications, and experience in financial modeling & data management
Experience/knowledge with Microstrategy & Hyperion Planning and Budgeting Tools is an asset
Ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships and work effectively as part of a team
Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Quality driven and detail oriented
Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills; can see the “big picture” in a complex environment
