JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sr. Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster is responsible for oversight and handling of commercial automobile, long haul trucking, fleet, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle, garage, and cargo claims. The claims are of varying complexity and the successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and the ability to excel in a high performance environment. The Sr. Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster ensures claims are properly investigated, evaluated, and resolved in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide prompt, courteous, accurate and fair claims service to all customers, internal and external
- Manage complex and/or commercial auto claims
- Interpret and apply policy wordings to determine appropriate coverage under a customer’s policy
- Ensure all claims are promptly and fully investigated, collaborating with fraud investigators when necessary
- Work with the customer, broker, and preferred vendors to determine the best way to resolve the claim
- Process claims payments within your authority level
- Achieve the targeted number of assigned claims per year, while living our core values and meeting competencies
ELEGIBILITY:
- 3 years of auto adjusting experience
- CIP in process AND C11 is completed
- Post Secondary Degree
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills-detail-oriented and highly organized
- Advanced knowledge of claims processes and procedures
COMPENSATION:
- Permanent and Fulltime Hours
- $65,000 + Flexible Schedule + 4 weeks of vacation + Company Share Ownership Program + Pension + Education Resources
