Description:
Our client is a manufacturing company based in Langley who is seek to add a supply chain manager to join their team on a temporary basis. Leading end-to-end supply chain activities, implementing Lean processes, manage budgets, and foster a safety-focused culture. Ideal for those skilled in strategic execution and team leadership.
They will be expected to manage a team of 4 in supply chain and coordinating a team of 14 in production, ensuring projects and production demands are met.
As a Supply Chain Manager reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee all aspects of our supply chain, encompassing planning, sourcing, purchasing (including MRO), production scheduling, materials planning, warehousing, and shipping & logistics. You’ll take charge of developing short- and long-term objectives, and executing daily management activities,. planning and managing demand requirements, fostering a culture of zero safety incidents.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree – Supply chain or Business
• Seven years of experience as a leader of people in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP platforms. – SAP and Excel
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). –
• Ability to lead multiple teams
Nice to haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Professional Supply Chain Certifications such as SCMP, APICS-CPIM/CSCP or similar.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or training) with demonstrated CI achievements.
• Exposure to Engineered to Order (ETO) products and manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to manufacturing of switchgears, transfer switches, panelboards, or similar products.
