Description:
Cette personne sera le lien entre les fournisseurs et la fabrication. Les opérations quotidiennes consisteront à traiter les produits fabriqués sur commande et d’autres fonctions opérationnelles.
La répartition par produit est la suivante : matières premières, connecteurs et produits finis:
Principales responsabilités:
Ils seront chargés de se tenir au courant des rapports de pénurie.
Il travaillera aux côtés d’un planificateur. Les planificateurs élaborent une nomenclature et, une fois qu’ils ont calculé la quantité qu’ils achètent/examinent les pénuries par pièce, ils créent le rapport et les besoins en stock, que le spécialiste de la chaîne d’approvisionnement utilisera pour passer commande.
Il assure également le suivi des commandes existantes et de leur délai de livraison
Il doit suivre ce qui se passe sur le terrain. Ils assistent aux réunions de production pour comprendre l’état d’avancement et la disponibilité des matériaux.
Il y a 2 à 3 réunions de production par semaine. Ils passent en revue chaque travail et assurent le suivi des commandes.
Ils passent de nouvelles commandes, environ 40 à 50 par semaine.
Ils passent des commandes dans leur système ERP appelé “Visual manufacturing”.
Ils travailleront avec Excel (vlokup/tableaux croisés dynamiques) pour analyser les besoins en stocks.
Ils passent des commandes auprès de 80 % de leurs fournisseurs actuels et de 20 % de nouveaux fournisseurs.
Pour les nouveaux fournisseurs, ils devront s’approvisionner en pièces et négocier les prix et les délais. (10 % des commandes)
Pour toutes les commandes de pièces, ils devront s’assurer que les matériaux sont certifiés et que les rapports sont envoyés aux clients.
L’entreprise travaille avec des fournisseurs en Californie et aux États-Unis, ainsi qu’avec certains fournisseurs à l’étranger.
Ils devront coordonner les expéditions à l’étranger.
S’il y a un problème avec une pièce, il devra le résoudre.

Excellent Opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist looking to grow their career in one of the leading Aerospace companies in Montreal!
Job Description:
This individual will be the link between suppliers and manufacturing. The day to day operations will be dealing with build to order products and other operational functions.
Split by commodity :
Main responsibilities:
They will be responsible to stay on top of shortage reports.
They will be working a long side a planner. Planners will build a BOM and once they run the quantity that they are buying/review shortage per part are create and the report will be given and requirements on hand and this is what the supply chain specialist will use to place order.
They are also following up on existing orders and their time of delivery
They need to follow up on what’s on the floor. They will attend production meting to understand the status and material availability.
There is 2-3 production meeting a week. They will go over every job and follow up on orders.
They are placing new Pos, about 40-50 Pos are placed on a weekly basis
They are placing orders in their ERP system called “Visual manufacturing.”
They will be working within Excel (vlokup/ pivot tables) to analyze inventory needs.
They are placing orders with 80% of current suppliers and 20% new suppliers.
For new suppliers they will have to source parts and negotiate priced and lead times. (10% of orders)
For all parts order, they will need to make sure that they have material certification and reports are sent out to clients.
They are working with suppliers in CA and US and some over seas.
They will need to coordinate over seas shipment
If there is an issue with a part, they will need to resolve the issue
Must haves:
3-5+ years of buying manufacturing environment
Excel
Bilingual – English first
PO management
Negotiation skills – price, lead times
Asset:
Reading engineering drawings
Working with ERP system
Raw materials – understanding materials.
Bachelor’s degree
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30-5pm
40 hour work week
5 days in office
