Aston Carter Looking for Treasury Analyst at Ontario Full Time

Description:

Working with the Director, Risk Management and broader Treasury team to re-build processes and controls for:

• Activities leading to execution of foreign exchange and interest rate swaps

• Managing data attributable to derivative products

• Uploading of data into key finance systems

• Month-end reporting and analyses within Treasury

*Required attributes and skills; keen attention to detail, Microsoft Excel and Word, Alteryx software and data science experience a plus

Optimization of data management of derivative products

• Re-build Excel processes and workbooks to better track outstanding derivatives

• Rebuild Excel workbooks using macro’s or other means to improve the uploading of accurate information into financial systems

• Rebuild Excel processes to support monthly reporting

Enhance processes for the modelling of monthly interest rate risk

• Re-build existing processes and models for the uploading of data into Asset Liability Management (ALM) Software

• Enhance Alteryx queries used to create data feeds for ALM software

Enhance processes for the creation of assumptions used in ALM modelling

• Creating processes to allow for the analyzing of data to create assumptions to be used in ALM modelling.

Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE 1: 3+ Years of Treasury/Finance Experience

• FSI Experience (would be helpful)

• Asset Liability Management

MUST HAVE 2: Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics

MUST HAVE 3: Very solid Excel skills (MACRO, VBA)

• Building, recreating excel reports

NICE TO HAVES:

• Alteryx software

• Asset Liability Management

• ALM Software
