The Strategic Human Resources Business Partner will be a highly influential and impactful contributor to the organization, delivering critical strategic and operational HR outcomes in support of our business strategy. Responsibilities:
Support the execution of the overall business by building and implementing People Strategies to attract, develop and retain employees; drive competitive advantage; and address opportunities and threats
Ensures flawless execution of key people processes within the functions you support – leading Performance Management, Talent, Reward, Employee Relations, and Workforce Planning processes
Partner seamlessly across the HR Team to steward organization-wide development programs, change activities and recruitment strategies, and broker access to key external vendors and consultants to meet functional needs.
Own the reporting & analytics for HR to drive insights that inform proactive recommendations and changes to existing/historical practices and simplify ways of working
Drives impact within the HR & Communications function, leading projects, contributing to department meetings, and co-creating learning and team building activities for the team
Maintain a high level of communication with all levels of the organization (both globally and locally) and positively impact the key decisions
Work with leader and leadership teams to further cultivate an inclusive, innovative, empowering and engaging culture across the enterprise; actively building both short and long-term plans to engage and prepare the workforce for the future
Contribute to the fun, innovative, supportive, empowering & engaging culture within the team and business
Participates as a member of key functional leadership teams in establishing department strategies and plans, resolving business challenges and ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision, mission and core values and adherence to changing legislation
Conduct activities and interactions consistent with AstraZeneca values and in compliance with the Code of Conduct, Canadian employment law and supporting Policies and Standards relevant to your role.
Your Towering Strengths:
Accomplished facilitator who can assess organizational needs (learning, talent, recruitment) and build impactful and sustainable enterprise strategies and solutions working with both global and local colleagues
Seasoned communicator with the ability to cut-through-complexity and integrate diverse ideas to make strong decisions across the business
Disciplined contributor to overall business plan can reinvent and implement People Strategies to build strong retention of people and manage the changing competitive landscape
Subject matter expert in HR who can counsel on enterprise organizational design, people plans and change strategies
Analytical whiz with exceptional excel skills, can distill data insights through simplified reporting to inform better data-driven decision-making
Inclusive leader who is a model for inclusive and diverse, forward-thinking, learning-agile leadership
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of diverse Human Resources Leadership experience
Ability to engage Executive teams and capable of providing effective guidance and challenge where appropriate
Extraordinary program management skills, track results, dissect data and turn it into insights
CHRP/CHRL designation or Human Resources Specialty would be considered an asset
Critical thinking skills to assess the root cause of complex issues and build sound HR/Business solutions
Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset
