What we need.
A highly organized and service-oriented IT Coordinator who can provide daily onsite support as well as remote support to our staff. The Director of Activation will provide day-to-day oversight of the role along with At Your Server.
This is a placement position for on-site support at one of our flagship customers. You will have a team behind you who will help direct, guide and assist when needed in your role at the customer site.
What You’ll Do.
You will play a vital and central role across the following areas:
· Customer Service:
o As the go-to/frontline IT resource for all employees, ensure top notch IT customer service to minimise disruption and maximize productivity;
o Set up equipment for new employees (and freelancers as needed) and provide an IT orientation to end users
o Offboard departing employees, ensuring equipment retrieval and disconnecting network and systems access
o Manage systems in onsite boardrooms including consoles, software and provide end user support training as well as real time support to those who need it for internal or client meetings
o Coordinate the Telus phone plan and setting up new employees and offboarding exiting employees
o Provide end user support for the Xerox copy machines and printers (2) and work with Xerox to trouble shoot if/as needed
· Infrastructure & security
o Help optimize & maintain the IT infrastructure, flagging any issues to leadership
o Help ensure we have the right disaster recovery processes in place to ensure business continuity
o Coordinate the onsite server room ensuring equipment is safe and protected
· Inventory management
o Maintain an inventory of hardware, software, phones and computer accessories (keyboard, monitors) for all staff including those housed at employee homes
o Assist HR team with selling off aging equipment to staff or externally
o Assist with purchase of new equipment monitoring hardware lifecycles and replacement needs
o Manage inventory of licenses we have for various products (e.g., Office 365, Advantage, SPSS, Enviro design programs etc)

· You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience providing systems end user support in an office environment.
· You have post-secondary IT training.
· You have a strong customer service orientation and have excellent verbal communication skills.
· You have a strong intellectual curiosity about things – how they work and what else is possible.
· You have strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· You are a whizz on both the macOS and Windows platforms and can diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues quickly and efficiently in both environments.
· The Office 365 suite of tools is second nature to you.
· You have experience administering and are a self-described expert using SaaS platforms; bonus if direct experience with Slack, Zoom and Zoom Rooms, Workfront, Invision, Sketch.
· You know your way around audio/visual equipment like TVs, projectors and Wifi-enabled speakers (e.g., Sonos).
· You have a strong understanding of acronyms – DNS, LAN, WAN, and VPN.
· You are comfortable setting up and supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android).
