ATG Pharma Inc. Looking for Accounting Coordinator at Oakville, Ontario, Canada Full Time

The Accounting Generalist is responsible for performing the day-to-day processing of various accounting transactions, as well as providing support on improvement projects and initiatives to ensure the companies financial processes, planning, reporting and analytics.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage and maintain company books in QuickBooks. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing, entering, and posting payroll, accounts payables, and accounts receivables.
• Reconcile various inter-company transactions and accounts monthly.
• Initiate communication with customers to solve due balances.
• Prepare and process payments for all vendorsTax Reporting (HST, WSIB, EHT)
• Lead cost improvement initiative : Assist departmental leads with information necessary to source new vendors and lower costs.
• Oversee, handle, and monitor all accounts payables and receivables.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Manage and assure filing compliance for Federal and provincial taxes
• Direct and coordinate the company’s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to CEO, and other managerial staff while recommending further courses of action

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience in accounting or finance
• Work Experience: 2+ years experience with full-cycle accounting or finance in a small to medium size business.
• Knowledge:
• Possess strong phone, written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate experience in the use of cloud-based financial accounting systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS, Excel and QuickBooks online proficiency.
