KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing transfer pricing documentation for all intercompany transactions in line with international guidelines, including gathering information, drafting functional analysis documents, carrying out economic analyses
Transfer pricing policy implementation and global transfer pricing compliance implementation
Ensure implementation is in accordance with each country’s laws and regulations
Assist in developing intercompany policies for tangible products, services, intangible property and financial transactions
Review and analysis of product pricing, intercompany licensing arrangements and intercompany services
Preparing country-by-country reports and documentation for each of ATS’s entities around the world
Preparation of tax forms related to intercompany transactions (T106, Form 5472…etc.) and ensuring information quality and data integrity
Assisting with preparation of value models for intercompany IP transfers that occur globally
Monitoring laws and regulations pertaining to transfer pricing and overseeing their application
Partner with Legal and Business units to execute and manage intercompany agreements
Support transfer pricing controversy matters regarding US, Canadian, and Foreign transfer pricing audit inquiries
Preparing documentation and analyses to assist with internal/external audit inquiries from IRS, CRA…etc.
Work with Tax department to ensure tax implications or transfer pricing matters are reflected appropriately in tax plan and tax compliance filings
Perform risk analysis, review operations, and identify potential transfer pricing tax issues
Collaborate on tax accounting consequences for intercompany transactions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Economics, Finance, Commerce business, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics preferred
Completion of an accounting, finance, taxation or an LLB designation is an asset
Minimum 1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing
Strong research, writing and quantitative analytical skills within transfer pricing
Ability to perform transfer pricing analyses
Ability to gather and analyze data for various markets, industries and company operations
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (with ability to explain and summarize analyses in structured manner)
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to with others
Knowledge of transfer pricing documentation rules and ability to apply them
Strong business acumen and knowledge of current economic climate
Good priority management skills, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Detail oriented and analytical
Ability to work independently on multiple projects
Advanced Microsoft office skills (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience working in manufacturing sector an asset
