We’re looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Packaging team in the role of Team Member, Packaging (Days)!
As a Team Member, Packaging (Days), you will….
Packaging of cannabis products
Labeling of cannabis products
Conducting equipment cleaning within the packaging area
Conducting general facility cleaning
Line set-up/line clearance of daily packaging lines
Where applicable, must adhere to Aurora’s SOPs and comply with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to all ISO requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements
Recognize unsafe conditions and practices, and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss
Other duties as required
You would be the best fit for this role if you have…
Comfortable working with cannabis
Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs
Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required
Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms
Comfortable working with step ladders (i.e. step ladder/single sided step ladder)
Must be able to wear proper PPE (jump suits, safety glasses, hair nets, etc.)
Bonus points if you have…
Previous experience working with cannabis considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
