Human Resources Coordinator
We are currently seeking a regionalHuman Resources Coordinator to join our team in Saint John, NB.

Autism Intervention Services (AIS) was founded by Danielle Pelletier in 2005, to provide preschool aged children with autism spectrum disorder and their families with high quality, evidence-based services. At AIS, our programs are dedicated to providing quality intervention and making every teaching moment count. As a result of our programs’ success, we have gained our government’s confidence in our contracted services and currently serve over 500 families across the province of New Brunswick.
Our Human Resources Coordinator is a highly-valued team member who provides human resource expertise and support to our teams in the Saint John region, consisting of approximately 100 employees. The main office is located in Saint John, but travel to satellite offices in Sussex and St. George is required. Working hours are generally Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm; however, given the nature of the position, occasionally time-sensitive issues come up that require after hours attention.

Position Summary:
Our Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the following activities geared to protect the employer and the employee:
· recruitment and selection activities (including job postings, pre-screening, interviewing and reference checking)
· effective communication of organizational policy and procedure changes or updates
Qualifications and Requirements:
The ideal candidate will bring:
· Post-secondary education or community college certification in Human Resources Management.
· 2-3 years related experience working in the human resources field
· Demonstrate exceptional abilities to work in a team setting and a high level of professionalism and integrity, adopting and respecting AIS’s mission and values
· Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
· Be willing to complete a criminal record check, vulnerable sector check and Social Development prior contact signing
· Bilingualism (French and English) is preferable. Please state your oral and written language capabilities
· Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel is required
Our company has a COVID-19 Operational Plan that is designed to ensure safety for our employees and clients. The AIS Operational Plan follows all recommendations from New Brunswick Department of Public Health and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Our employees are expected to follow the directives of Public Health concerning COVID-19 restrictions and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
PLEASE NOTE: As of November 19, 2021, and under mandate from the Government of New Brunswick, all AIS employees are required to be fully vaccinated. The only employees whom this does not apply to are those with a valid medical exemption.
