Your day-to-day…
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Follow a checklist to ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined
- Use power tools, machine tools and common hand tools
- Review work orders and discuss with supervisor
- Inspect motor in operation, road test vehicles, and test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment
What You Bring To The Table
- Red Seal automotive service technician license would be considered an asset.
- Apprentices will be considered
- Strong customer service skills and a good personality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving history
