Fusion 360 is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing to connect your entire product development process into one cloud-based platform.
We are looking for a talented F ull Stack Software Development Engineer to join Fusion 360’s Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) team in Canada. MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and core to Data Platform for Autodesk Cloud Flagship Product – Fusion 360. Our objective is to build customer trusted data platform and service that would granulate data with values currently locked in manufacturing workflows, and enable concurrency, automation and collaboration throughout the entire product lifecycle, hence fulfill the company vision – empower customers to design and make better products faster.
We are building MFGDM engineering team in Canada to collaborate with other MFGDM teams and downstream services teams across geos. This team will own to drive, lead and implement key MFGDM projects to fulfill Manufacturing Cloud Data Platform. In addition to supporting customers and 2nd parties relying on the MFGDM, this team’s responsibilities will span from planning, architecture, solutioning, execution and deployment. What you will work on will directly contribute to Autodesk Data & Platform strategy and win the race to the next gen Design & Manufacturing Platform. Responsibilities
Work with global MFGDM development teams from US, Canada, India, China etc.
Work in a scrum team with 4-6 engineers including Product Owner, Scrum Master and as part of the scrum team, collaborate with some key stakeholders outside team including Product Manager for business requirements and Architect for technical solution direction
Closely collaborate with dependent platform development teams to solve MFGDM dependencies and closely collaborate with 2nd and 3rd party developers to support them to build workflows on MFGDM
Design, implement and validate MFGDM modules/components/services
Fully own the quality of work delivered, have strong sense of ownership for delivering in excellence. Can learn and develop tools to drive high quality services development such as resiliency analysis, performance/scalability/stability monitor, automation test, etc.
Provide technical support to MFGDM consumers and also help address issues that impact customers
Follow best engineering practices for the work they deliver and help improve the current processes
Actively participate and contribute to global technical discussions
Minimum Qualifications
Solid knowledge in JavaScript /Typescript /Node.js. Hands-on project experience with these skills is necessary and experience with any major JS development framework such as React JS, Angular JS is needed
Hands-on Cloud projects development experience is highly preferred
Experience of working in Agile process is preferred
Good C++ skill is a strong plus
AWS/Java/database experience is preferred
BS or higher in computer science or related technical discipline
2+ years of software development experience in commercialized products or systems
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Willing to take challenges and stretch comfortable zone to grow
Fast learner and good team player
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills
