We are a Guelph based used car dealership and we are looking for an Automotive Technician Apprentice to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles and perform safeties on sold vehicles under supervision of a licensed technician.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
- Be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
- Ensure the vehicles are kept clean
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in MTO set rules and regulations for Ontario Safety Standards Certificate
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- A clean driving record
- Be able to drive manual transmission vehicles
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.00pm (no weekends)
