Automha Americas Automation Corp. is looking to support the business as it continues to expand with the addition of an Accounting Clerk. Reporting to the Controller, the candidate will work to support all facets of the business by ensuring all company transactions and reports are timely and accurate.
What we Offer:
Responsibilities:
– AR – Create and process outgoing invoicing, collect, process, and reconcile payments. Collection calls as required.
– AP – Process vendor invoices and track them against the appropriate purchase order or project, if applicable, process and issue payments and reconcile accounts. Process, review and pay employee expenses. Field vendor inquiries.
– GL – General journal postings, account reconciliation and balance review. Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial reports and details.
– Help to streamline and improve the existing procedures as it relates to invoice and expenses processing, record keeping and tracking, and other details
– Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
– All other duties as required
Qualifications
– A college or university degree, ideally with a focus on accounting or finance preferred
– At least three years working in similar role with a financial focus preferred
– Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing
– A solid familiarity with general accounting principles
– Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting software with experience working with QuickBooks being a particular asset
– Strong Microsoft Office skills with particular experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
– The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it’s information for the company or for individuals
– Strong people skills – a polite and professional demeanor when working with other companies, as well as consumers and coworkers

– Business Hours 9:00am to 5:00pm / 8:00am to 4:00pm
– This is a full-time position
– The applicant will be required to work from our Oakville location
