We are looking for a good individual that loves to work with people and technology to join our growing I.T. department. We already have a helpdesk system in place and will have some interesting challenges coming soon in our group.
Job Description:
- Daily management of the office equipment (PCs, Laptops, Printers, etc…)
- Daily management of user accounts (Office365, Active Directory, Jira/Confluence, etc…)
- Provide technical support to our teams using tools such as MS Office, outlook
- Answer incoming customer tickets and determine their requirements.
- Manage Anti-Virus system
- Escalate problems (when required) to the IT Team
- Work close to sys admins
- Develop help sheets and FAQ lists for end users.
- Using service desk software to record, track and document the service desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Maintain and improve system automation and management tools
More About You:
You could be our ideal candidate if you present:
- Knowledgeable with all Windows OS’s and hardware installation / configuration / troubleshooting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communications skills.
- Background in a Multi-tasking challenging environment.
- Good knowledge of networks (IP, DHCP, wireless, switches, printers).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Domain systems (user login, domain setup, printers).
- Strong documentation skills.
Extra:
- knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira / Confluence) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Mac OS is a plus.
- Working knowledge of virtual machines (VMware player, workstation / ESX / Virtual Box) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS) is a plus.
Location
This position will be at the office in Ville St-Laurent.
