Where does the Jr. IT / Security Support fit in?
The Jr. IT/Security Support will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the production floor staff and hardware. You will also research and analyse feasibility of emerging technology platforms.
As Jr. IT/Security Support you will ensure that production floors hardware, operating systems, network, and applications are aligned to corporate policies, procedures and best practices with a strong focus on documentation. You will provide support to the IT Supervisor and team as needed. You will create and manage the Cyber Security Awareness training campaigns for the business on an annual basis.
What you can expect as our next Jr. IT / Security Support:
Be hands-on with the monitoring, maintenance with devices including PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals etc.
Provide technical support to internal employees and train non-technical staff on internal information systems.
Responsible for new user onboarding. Set up equipment, accounts as well as training if required.
Complete hourly checks of IT Systems on the Plant floor
Printer service and maintenance
Assist as needed in projects through the scoping, planning, execution, and implementation
Provide support during off hours to support the IT teams shifts
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on standard procedures including instructions and pictures/diagrams
Take ownership of all assigned tickets and drive to resolution; researching and escalating to vendor or supervisor as necessary
Create and enforce Axiom IT policies, procedures and best practices
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and the potential effectiveness of these advancements on current systems
Manage Cyber Security Awareness training platform, create campaigns for employees
Simulated phishing testing, reporting, identifying high-risk individuals for retraining
Other duties as assigned

PRE-REQUISITES:
Completed OR In pursuit of College/University Diploma/Degree in the field of Computer Science, IT or equivalent working experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated individual
Ability to multi task as required
Excellent organizational skills
Flexible working hours
