You will join a dynamic team leading our On-premise journey in the Western Region being responsible for achieving the organization’s strategic and commercial goals within the On-premise channel overseeing key National and Regional accounts and customers. You will lead the team and support the team to build strong relationships with key customers and the distributor, develop customer strategies and business plans and ensure high quality organization and execution within the On-premise channel. You will play a critical role in building awareness and brand equity in the On-premise channel for the portfolio of Bacardi brands. As the region continues to rebound from the Covid pandemic and several lockdowns your role is crucial in rebuilding the partnerships and bring value to our accounts and customers.

You are an integral part of the commercial team and strategy putting the consumer at the heart of everything we do to Win in the On-premise.
You are familiar with On-premise personnel and comfortable establishing relationships within various channels including restaurants, bars, night clubs, and chains.
Responsibilities
With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
Lead, develop and manage a team of Bacardi Account Managers; articulate strategy, defines expectations, monitors progress, and coach in field with team.
The role is a leadership position in Bacardi Canada. It works as part of a cross functional team encompassing Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Consumer Insights and Supply Chain. The incumbent requires an understanding of how the total business goes to market.
Implement strategic sales plans to achieve and deliver the Bacardi On-premise goals and initiatives and P&L
Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, train, develop, and motivate the team to foster the success of the overall sales team
Manage and strengthen lasting key relationships within all National and Key Region accounts in On-premise channel within the Western Region through a consultative and influential approach.
Lead meetings with National and Key Accounts present Bacardi products and services by understanding the customer’s business processes, plans, needs and critical success factors by demonstrating understanding of competitive landscape through trends and data.
Collaborate cross-functionally utilizing Bacardi resources and distributor partnerships to achieve maximize performance and sales efforts by achieving increased volumes while building long lasting business opportunities in the Western Region universe.
Responsible for developing strong partnerships with accounts to build brand equity and awareness through high quality promotional activations, programs, that grow rate of sales and NVS in the On-premise channel.
Responsible for working and communicating with the distributor as the key point of contact for the On-premise channel, as well as be the liaison with our key agencies to ensure channel strategy and brand intrinsic are understood and executed in the On-premise.
As the Team Manager you will track all activities and consistently submit activity reports in a proprietary reporting tool to include KPI progress, account visits, trainings, wins, competitive activities, and special projects.
Efficiently manage the OP Regional budget, Brand Activation funds and monthly T&E budget. Travel estimated 20%
Participate in overall market commercial planning which may include weekly and monthly team meetings.
Deliver year-over-year growth within the Western Region while meeting quarterly KPI’s within the Western region account universe.
Provide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.

You will ideally have 3 years of experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry either as a supplier, distributor, as well as On-premise experience.
Bachelor’s degree required
