Call Centre Assistant PART-TIME PERMANENT – 27.50 hrs/week | Monday to Friday – 9am to 3pm Location: South Surrey As a Call Centre Assistant working in a dynamic healthcare setting, you will be responsible providing effective and professional telephone and/or online customer services to assist clients in coordinating their treatment schedule, ensuring payments are accurate and done in a timely manner, politely responding to requests and queries and updating the database/scheduling system efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES Booking in new patients (collecting basic patient information, and viewing the next available appointment on our booking system that the patient can attend) Rescheduling appointments Cancelling appointments Adding patients to the waitlist Editing patient profile settings, as requested by patients Confirming or sending list of upcoming appointments, as request by patients Confirming outstanding balances or sending payment link to patients Taking and relaying messages for other staff or admins Transferring calls, as required Resending forms, as requested by patient Noting conversation or requests on patient profile Answering and assisting with other general patient questions/requests Able to communicate and follow-up effectively with team members and customers Excellent written and oral communication Other duties as assigned by Manager QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: Minimum one year in an office environment or two years customer service experience preferred Education: Minimum of High School completion or equivalent Skills & Attributes: Required Analytical and problem resolution skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral Self-starter, self-directed, performance and results driven Attention to detail Desirable Skills Previous experience working in a call centreor customer service oriented work setting. highlypreferred Accepts ownership and accountability and possesses a high level of integrity Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude Technical Skills Advanced working knowledge of Excel Experience using Jane Practice Management Software an asset Powered by JazzHR
