We are hiring Contractor-Kinesiologists part-time or full-time remote work. This position is a “work from home” position, and includes scheduled team conferences and service delivery through videoconferencing. The successful candidate must have a private setting from which to work, with ample space for demonstrating exercises.

A Kinesiologist can look forward to extensive training and support from our Director, Psychological Services.

Kinesiologists who wish to work in our Mental Health program need to be members of OKA (Ontario Kinesiology Association).

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics or equivalent degree.
• Member in good standing of the Ontario Kinesiology Association.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Kinesiologist within a similar responsible role and in a related type of work setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable to provide consultations virtually
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• The desire to work hard to improve your skills
• Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to facilitate our clients’ needs by exceeding their goals
