Eden’s Retirement Villa is hiring full time Personal Support Workers! Eden’s Retirement Villa is a 72 bed special care home located on Fredericton’s North Side. While we are a large facility, we strive to create a home like and comfortable atmosphere for our residents. If you are a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individual with a passion for senior care, WE WANT YOU ON OUR TEAM!
Responsibilities include:
· Providing personal care
· Charting
· Basic housekeeping
· Assisting with meals
There are many opportunities for enhancement of your skills within the company with things such as medication administration training. In addition, there are opportunities for advancement in the company to greater roles and responsibilities.
Requirements include:
· Valid First Aid & CPR
· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
· Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector
· Social Development Check
· PSW or Equivalent Certification is considered an asset
Experience is always an asset, but we do offer assistance in acquiring your HCA certification for those individuals who meet our criteria and are interested in pursuing a career with us.
