Vehicle Fleet Project Coordinator (2203852) – Contract – 1 year

Location: Calgary, Alberta
Where the Chemistry Happens…
Working in close collaboration with the Fleet Management team, you will be the central point of contact within our Fleet Services supporting operations of both site and assigned vehicles; daily communications with employees allotted fleet vehicles.

Formula for Success: You Will…
Summer Student Project/Coordination
- Lead to coordinate and oversee project for our Commercial/ Seeds & Traits for ~ 150 Summer Students between: Fleet Manager, Fleet Manager Provider (Element), BASF Supervisor and Manager.
- Manage the Vehicle Assignments through Smartsheet (pool vehicle redeployment and rentals).
- Coordinate training for Safety and Fleet.
- Safety kit, fuel card, telematics coordination along with ancillary items as required.
- Onboarding and Offboarding.
Heavy Vehicle Coordination
- CVOR and Canada Transport compliance for vehicle segment.
- Safety Certificates.
- Implementation and tactics with outsourced system (JJ Keller Encompass).
- Manage, maintain and audits documentations (DQ files, ELDs, etc.).
- Work with Fleet Management Provider to obtain Driver Abstracts.
Fleet Vehicle Program
- Manage driver safety program.
- Act as a liaison for all Canadian businesses as part of escalation management process. Follow up on issues and provide closure.
Qualifications
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
We are open to training and mentoring the right candidate, but preference will be given to the person who possesses some of the following skill sets:
- Post-secondary graduate at a Community College, or equivalent experience and education.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related position.
- Safety and prior experience with Canadian transport fleet coordination experience/knowledge preferred.
- Strong technical skills in software application such as SAP, MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Administrator experience operating a web/cloud -based.
- Experience with various workflow management systems.
- Ability to work independently and of a collaborative team player.
- Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills.
- Demonstrated Priority Management skill.
- Creative thinking and growth mindset.
