SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the manager of customer service, the representative is responsible for supporting our Surgical business unit, including medical devices and eye surgery. The representative will be first line support, responding to incoming calls to offer customers assistance on product support, ordering, consignment, etc.
REPONSABILITIES:
Respond to incoming customers’ calls
Enter customer orders by phone, email, fax and EDI.
Respond to customer’s requests regarding the follow ups on their orders, returns and out of stock inventory
Reconciliation of consignment inventory located at hospitals & clinics, and proceeds with necessary follow ups with the sales representatives and customers.
Process credits, issue invoices and authorize returns
Coordinate deliveries with the distribution center, track and research packages.
Work with the sales representatives for quotations on samples of equipment and products
Daily follow ups on all open lines and open order report.
Effective use of technology and software to respond to customers quickly and accurately
Build and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders (marketing, customer service, sales)
Report adverse events and special safety situations immediately after their reception to the pharmacovigilance department as per current SOPs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate Degree required
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position
Experience in the medical device industry and eye surgery is an asset
Very strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
Familiar with PeopleSoft, SFDC and EDI systems an asset
Self-motivated and has the ability to project a positive attitude even under pressure
Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising the quality of service, in a positive way
Attentive to details and rigorous
