An Overview Of Your Future Role At BBA
- Carry out engineering projects based on IEC 61850 standards for digital power systems
- Play various roles, such as project leader
- Design protection diagrams (logic and control diagrams)
- Design substation HMI/SCADA architecture and configuration
- Configure smart electronic devices (relays, substation controllers, etc.)
- Perform testing at BBA’s digital power systems lab
- Commission digital power systems

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements
- Diploma of college studies in Electrical Engineering or other relevant training
- Five years of experience or more in the power systems sector
- Available to travel to BBA’s offices across Canada
- Available for short- and long-term assignments at client sites across Canada
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Knowledge of substation technology
- Knowledge of how to configure protection relays
- Asset: knowledge of the IEC 61850 standard
- Asset: knowledge of how to configure HMI/SCADA systems
- Asset: knowledge of test equipment for protection relays
- Asset: knowledge of AutoCAD software
