Job Purpose
The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and daily operational support to
BCAPOP programs, team members, stakeholders, and the public. This role is instrumental in the successful coordination and execution of programs and events.
Key Job Functions
1. Assists with financial processes including contracts and invoices.
2. Manages the BCAPOP storefront including order fulfilment, stock maintenance, and answering the phone.
3. Provides administrative support to others, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, data entry, and file management.
4. Coordinates events and meeting logistics including handling registration, booking venues, virtual platforms, arranging catering, and setting up audiovisual equipment.
5. Supports BCAPOP programs and prepares correspondence through writing and formatting professional reports, memos, and presentations with attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
6. Assists in data collection related to projects, programs and organizational reports.
7. Responds to verbal and written inquiries from members, stakeholders, and the public; supports and resolves administrative and technical problems as required.
8. Maintains data and file management electronically, handles requests for information, and ensures an efficient operation of a virtual workplace for BCAPOP.
9. Performs other related duties as required.

Preferred:
An equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
Skills and Abilities:
(CPNP) and Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
