ANALYST, ESG REPORTING AND DISCLOSURE

The Opportunity
Working closely with the Treasury Division, you are responsible for supporting BC Ferry Services Inc. in meeting its sustainability disclosure and assurance requirements. This includes supporting the identification of objectives, the establishment of disclosure roadmap, targets and key performance indicators, and progress reporting.
Responsibilities
Support corporate sustainability disclosure and assurance requirements.
Facilitate ESG-related reporting and disclosure requirements, as forming under ISSB that encompasses TCFD, SASB, and GHG Protocol
Critically assess emerging ISSB standards, providing representative feedback to exposure drafts
Support portfolio-wide sustainability initiatives and programs, including the company’s Safety, Clean Futures, Community, and DEI programs
Draft reports, presentations and responses to ESG questions
Conduct market research on ESG and provide insightful and relevant written analysis
Assist with projects and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Political Science or related field and relevant experience in finance, risk management, marine operations, data analysis, policy development, and reporting. You also demonstrates an ability to successfully take on new challenges, new responsibilities, and progress professionally towards a stated career goal.
