The Data & Insights Office (DIO) is responsible for business intelligence and customer research, including integrating BCPSA data sets, and providing meaningful visualizations and analysis, as well as creating automated data feeds for the BCPSA, Ministry clients and Agencies, Boards and Commissions. Customer Research staff provide survey research (e.g.: Work Environment Survey, Exit Survey, New Job Survey), reporting and analytics for BCPSA service lines including engagement and retention insights in partnership with BC Stats.
The Data Librarian is responsible for collecting, creating and/or maintaining all business metadata connected to the Data & Insights Office including providing information on underlying logic, data quality and history. The position maintains specific and current nomenclature for all data marts and their associated data elements. The Data Librarian is required to work with data partners across the BCPSA and in ministries and organizations.
