Job Summary

This position provides financial support services for the Child Care programs. Ensure effective, efficient and timely processing of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with a variety of legislation, regulation, policies, procedure, including the Financial Administration Act, Child Care Subsidy Act, Child Care Subsidy Regulations and Treasury Board Orders.

This role requires sound judgement and excellent organizational abilities. If you are a motivated, results oriented administrative professional wanting to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, we look forward to your application.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent. An equivalent combination of relevant post-secondary course work or training (eg: business administration/accounting course work) and experience working in an office setting may be considered.
  • Experience working in an office setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Outlook.

Preference May Be Given To Candidates With:

  • One 1 year or more experience in an office setting.
  • Experience in a finance/clerical position.
  • Experience in a front-line customer service environment.
  • Experience working in a contact center.
  • Experience working in the Public Sector.
