An eligibility list may be established to fill similar permanent or temporary vacancies in the Child Care Division and may be shared with the Strategic Integration, Policy and Legislation Division, and/or Service Delivery Division of MCFD.
This position is currently in the Child Care Division as part of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. As of April 1, 2022, the Child Care Division will move to the Ministry of Education and Child Care.

The Strategic Human Resource Branch supports the ministry with innovative, future-focused initiatives, programs and activities related to talent management: talent acquisition and retention, workforce planning, succession management, employer branding, performance management and Indigenous recruitment and cultural safety.
The SHR Coordinator reports to an SHR Consultant responsible for a portfolio of Division clients. This role will provide administrative and coordination support to a wide range of SHR functions such as: strategic workforce planning, recruitment, retention, organizational development, succession management and employee engagement. The SHR Coordinator uses their expertise to provide high-quality support to their partners and clients both internal and external.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Secondary School graduation or equivalent (such as a GED).
Experience working in a professional office environment in an administrative role.
Experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preference may be given to applicants with:
Completed courses in office or business administration.
Experience in a public service human resources role or environment.
Experience supporting the administration of the public service recruitment process.
