Within the Ministry of Finance, the Information Management Branch (IMB) delivers a full suite of information management and technology services to the Ministry of Finance and Office of the Premier, as well as Government House, Ministers’ Offices, and a number of boards and commissions. In partnership with our clients, we deliver technology enabled business transformation; design, build and maintain business applications, operate the ministry’s service desk, and provide infrastructure planning, business process mapping, change management support, project management and investment planning as well as information technology security and privacy support. Although our work is centered on technology, our success comes from relationship building and a customer centric lens.
The primary focus of the Senior IM/IT Project manager is to manage multiple IM/IT projects with a strategic value which are controlled against defined business plans and budgets. This job will manage human and financial resources, lead a diverse team of technical specialists, and manage the stakeholder consultation process. This position is also responsible for project management services and planing ongoing business and technology needs consistent with government and ministry strategic plans, system standards and interfacing requirements.
