The Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions leads the Province of British Columbia in efforts to improve the mental well-being and reduce substance use-related harms for all British Columbians. The Provincial Support Office is responsible for the operational implementation and delivery of integrated child and youth teams, a new and innovative model of community-based mental health and substance use services to young people and their families in British Columbia. These multi-disciplinary teams will be connected to a cluster of schools and serve young people in locations where they feel most comfortable. Team members will be comprised of child and youth clinicians, youth substance use practitioners, school counsellors, peer support workers and Indigenous support workers.
The Office Assistant position provides general administrative, clerical and program support to the division.
