Snag this opportunity as an Assistant Manager, EVO Fleet with our Evo Car Share Team. 

As an Assistant Manager, EVO Fleet, you will help coordinate the daily operations of the EVO Fleet Team, by providing in-the-field supervision, coaching, safety support, and customer support, while promoting EVO’s corporate initiatives alongside. You will work closely with the Fixed Operations Manager to deliver on health & safety, financial, productivity, customer experience, risk management, and engagement goals, which will be measured by fleet availability, monthly revenue, trip targets, and engagement of the EVO Fleet Team.

What you bring 

• At least 2-3 years of automotive or rental car industry experience, coupled with a minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the automotive field.
• Two-year post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (eg. Business Administration), and/or a combination of education and experience.
• A clean drivers abstract, annual renewal required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
• A keen eye for detail and validated abilities working in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Proven foundation of organisational change principles, mentorship skills, employee relations, and workforce planning.
• Cohesive teammate and team builder, with the ability to build high performance teams built on trust, as a manager and teammate.
• Bonus skills and experience!  
• Experience in a startup environment. 

Once here, you will:  

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement processes, policies, and procedures aligning with the Fleet Operations Vision, and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.
• Apply organisational change practices during system upgrades and implement contingency plans for system outages.
• Facilitate the exchange of feedback between teams and implement methods to streamline or automate work processes for increased efficiency.
• Achieve or surpass all vehicle operational metrics and targets, ensuring optimal vehicle availability/up-time and efficient collision repair cycle time.
• Coordinate the in-fleeting and de-fleeting process, encompassing branding preparation, installation of BCAA’s proprietary access system, and lead inventory, including salvage vehicles, parts sourcing, and reconciliation of new inventory items for Fleet Maintenance.
• Lead the team to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures, conducting monthly H&S meetings, identifying and addressing hazards, and fostering a safety culture by consistently wearing PPE and ensuring adherence to safe work procedures in the shop and field.
• Nurture and lead a diverse team through coaching, goal alignment, accountability, recognition, and personal development support. Collaborate on recruitment, retention, and performance management with internal partners to ensure a positive and engaging workplace.
• Stay informed on all BCAA products, policies, and systems, attend mandatory training courses, and stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.

The salary range for this position is $73,000 to $83,000  and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.
