The Quality Improvement Lead provides quality improvement leadership and support within the Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA). The Quality Improvement Lead supports the development and implementation of HSDA plans consistent with strategic and operational plans and standards. The Quality Improvement Lead supports the development of structures and processes to advance quality and patient safety at Northern Health. The Quality Improvement Lead also works with the Continuous Improvement team to provide education and expertise on quality improvement methodologies and other principles, strategies, and tools used in the field of improvement science.
Starting salary will be approximately from $86,398 to $107,997 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
Mills Memorial Hospital is a 52 acute care bed hospital and provides the only inpatient psychiatric unit in the northwest. They offer emergency services, and has a diagnostic and specialist center which includes CT scan and nuclear medicine. Visiting specialists come for obstetrics/gynecology, psychiatry, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, anaesthetics, radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology, otorhinolaryngology (ENT), podiatry, pediatrics and internal medicine. Community cancer and chronic disease management clinics are available.
