Job Description Summary
The Finance Manager is primarily responsible for driving optimal utilization of the various financial systems (SAP, BPC, PowerBI, etc). In addition, this role is responsible for acting as the Finance Business Partner to the U.S. Diagnostic Systems Sales (DS) & Marketing teams (Office of the VP/GM, Field Sales, Marketing, Solutions & Services, Medical Affairs) and to provide business support to the Global platform teams.

Responsibilities related financial systems include financial master data maintenance, driving best practice adoption within the broader DS Finance team and seeking out opportunities to leverage those systems to drive further business insights / analytics.
With respect to the Finance Business Partnership to the U.S. Sales & Marketing organization, responsibilities include preparation/recording of monthly entries to ensure proper financial reporting of results, analyzing monthly / quarterly variances for operating expenses, preparing concise financial performance presentations for Service Leadership, preparing budgets / forecasts, and providing insights to regional leadership through data analytics.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and monitoring of Financial Master Data for DS to ensure accurate and straightforward reporting out of our financial systems.
Identifying best practices for systems utilization and then communicating those practices to the broader DS Finance team providing supporting training / guidance where required.
Driving continuous improvements in the ability of our financial systems to deliver deeper insights and analytics to organization.
Drives continuous financial improvement through Sales analytics, Gross Profit analysis, New Product and Discontinuance Analysis, and Spending analysis.
Preparation and recording of monthly financial adjustments required to ensure the integrity of financial reporting for both the U.S. Sales & Marketing organization
Analyzing and understanding Sales & Marketing Cost Center variances to financial forecasts / budgets to drive clear, concise performance reporting to both the Business Partners and Finance Leadership.
Preparation of Budgets, Projections and the Annual Strategic Review financials for the U.S. Sales & Marketing Organization including facilitating reviews with business partners / key contracts and completing a schedule of risks & opportunities
Active day-to-day partnership with the Sales & Marketing organization as needed on various ad-hoc analysis to help drive business decisions and operations.
Minimum Requirement:
B.S. degree required, Accounting or Finance
CPA / MBA or equivalent or working toward qualification is desirable
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance function required.
Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possess the ability to multi-task, should be well organized, possess good analytical and communication skills and have good attention to detail and quality oriented.
Knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting
Extensive knowledge of SAP, BPC and PowerBI
Candidate must be highly proficient working with MS Excel and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
