At BDC, we have a long history of working with Indigenous entrepreneurs. We appreciate your unique histories, cultures and contributions in Canada.
We stand in solidarity with you and all Indigenous peoples and are committed to listening, learning and taking action towards Reconciliation.
Why BDC?
We help Canada and its entrepreneurs create a prosperous, inclusive and green economy, and that includes Indigenous entrepreneurs. BDC has 900 Indigenous clients across Canada, and one of our missions is to help Indigenous Canadian businesses thrive by providing financing, advisory services and capital.
We were also Canada’s first financial institution to obtain the B Corp certification. To be certified, a company needs to meet high standards of purpose, social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
We are also: Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 14 years and Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 11 years!
We give back
As an organization, we are very involved, and we welcome you to get involved as well. Our employee resource groups (ERGs), including the Indigenous Peoples ERG, are comprised of volunteer employees from across the organization, who work closely to create impactful initiatives that make a difference. We invite you to join! Furthermore, through the Indigenous Entrepreneur Loan, under certain conditions, a portion of an entrepreneur’s loan interest is donated to charity!
With us, you’ll be able to achieve the work/life balance you’re looking for, with competitive working conditions and above-market flexible benefits. This includes modern workspaces to work from when you are in our offices, and, for some specific positions, the ability to work remotely, on reserve, and/or within your community.
Do you want to help entrepreneurs in your community succeed? Are you curious and eager to learn about and improve business processes? Do you want to collaborate with a passionate, successful team?
We’re looking for you to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Montreal, QC!
As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will support your team with recruitment efforts across the country by coordinating interviews, creating candidate profiles, posting jobs, and replying to internal client and candidate inquiries. You will perform administrative processes related to recruitment and needs from your team, and coordinate recruitment events in collaboration with Talent Acquisition advisors.
Important Point to Consider
Vaccination Policy for COVID-19: The health, well-being and safety of our colleagues, clients and of the community are a top priority for us. Effective November 8, 2021, BDC requires that all employees and consultants be fully vaccinated. A solemn declaration will be requested to this effect.
While we appreciate all applications, we advise that only the candidates selected to participate in the recruitment process will be contacted.
