Your opportunity:
Our Vancouver offices are looking for a Manager to join the Financial Insights & Reporting Group and own the following responsibilities:
Lead review and compilation engagements, in addition to corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises
Building effective working relationships with client contacts and responding effectively to client requests
Completion of trust returns and trust working papers
Coordination of tax assignments including preparation of tax returns (T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and coordination with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met
Ensuring that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, as well as keeping them informed of the progress of the engagement
Following-up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, HST, business numbers

Your experience and education
You have a degree and/or diploma in accounting, finance or relevant field
You have 3+ years of accounting experience in the public accounting industry
You have experience with bookkeeping, compilations, review engagements, and preparing tax returns
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
